| Fergie Credits Kanye West With Making Hip-Hop 'Gay-Friendly' |

 Until the demise of the Fame Kills Tour, Kanye West had been planning to hit the road with Lady Gaga, one of the gay-friendliest pop stars out there today. So it doesn't really come out of left field to have Fergie credit him, along with her cohorts in the Black Eyed Peas, for helping make the world of hip-hop a little more open to alternative lifestyles. "They're completely gay-friendly. Are you kidding me? Look at how they dress!" she joked to The Advocate about the guys in her band, adding, "Kanye West really did a great thing for hip-hop and made it very mixed and open." As for her own sexuality, the singer says that although she's married now, to actor Josh Duhamel, she has experimented with girls in the past. So when the time came for her to get flirty with a girl or two in the "I Gotta Feeling" video, she didn't flinch for a second. "Yes, it was [my idea to flirt with the girls]," she said. "That was fun because it was so naughty. It was a big tease, but it felt very natural." Long before she was a pop star, Fergie got her start on a beloved children's show, "Kids Incorporated." She admits now that she made a few gay friends back then. "Oh, there were plenty on that show," she said. "But I don't want to out anyone, just in case." Although Fergie seemed open to talking about most subjects, including her upcoming role in "Nine," the singer chose not to discuss an altercation between Peas manager Liborio "Polo" Molina and Perez Hilton in Toronto in June. She notes, though, that she was upset that night because Perez had been criticizing her music on his blog and that it had bothered her. "When I see somebody I thought was my friend or starting to be my friend," she said, sighing, "when someone talks out of both sides of their mouth, it just makes me question their integrity."

Continuing her Circus Tour in Australia, Britney Spears was spotted on her way to her concert in the city of Melbourne earlier today (November 11).
The “Gimme More” mommy looked to be in a good mood as she and her boys Jayden James and Sean Preston headed off to the Rod Laver Arena accompanied by boyfriend Jason Trawick.
And while her sons certainly seemed to be sleepy, Miss Spears was gearing up to go onstage as she was only about an hour away from her performance.

Zachary Quinto talks up the new 'Star Trek' DVD
While Zachary Quinto cracked not much more than a knowing smirk while playing Spock in director J.J. Abrams’ re-vamped Star Trek – out on DVD Nov. 17 — “we did do plenty of laughing off camera,” chuckles Quinto. Anyone who’s seen the leaked gag reel from the movie that’s an extra feature on the impending DVD (it’s out Nov. 17) knows what he’s talking about. “J.J. leads with a sense of humor,” Quinto adds, “and that makes it a lot easier when you’re undertaking something as large as this project was.” So who had Quinto cracking up the most? “Simon Pegg was a big culprit in making me laugh all the time,” Quinto says, but he also singles out co-stars Chris Pine, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood and Karl Urban. “It’s really a funny group of people.”
In one of the making-of documentaries on the DVD, Quinto also talks about when meeting his on-screen namesake for the first time, the very first thing Leonard Nimoy told him was that his life was about to change rather radically. So, has it? “No, not at all,” Quinto laughs, although he’s not joking. “I don’t know — maybe I should be chased down the street by rabid Star Trek fans. But I engage fans on a personal level, and I engage them as myself, [not as Spock]. It’s really important that those boundaries are clear, and that’s always been the case in my life. It seems to be working.” Hopefully, that means Quinto’s career will live long and prosper.

Out for another stop on their Stateside promotional tour, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz were all smiles at the Westfield Fox Valley Mall in Aurora, Illinois on Tuesday (November 10).
The “New Moon” co-stars spent the evening greeting fans and signing autographs, also taking turns on the mic to chat with the sizable crowd gathered around for their appearance.

Céline Dion isn't pregnant after all – but will keep on trying for a second child.
"We are living the reality of the majority of couples who have to use [IVF]. The process can be long and arduous," Dion's husband René Angélil, 67, told the Canadian paper Journal de Montreal of their failed attempts. "But today, we are full of confidence. Celine is more determined than ever."
Forty-one-year-old Dion's doctor announced that she was pregnant via in vitro fertilization very early in the process, and it is now revealed that the embryos transferred in August and October were unsuccessful.
"Dr. Zev Rosenwaks believed that the procedure/pregnancy took, but that wasn't the case. We found out some days later. We were shocked," said Angélil. They quickly tried again to get pregnant, but were unsuccessful, he added, "But you know Céline. She doesn't let go."
The couple have one "extraordinary" son, René-Charles, born in 2001, who was also conceived with the help of Rosenwaks, director of the Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Center Medical Center.
"I admire all the women who go through such a tough process. Since April, she has undergone numerous examinations, multiple hormone injections and blood tests," Angélil told the paper, revealing the couple will go to New York this weekend for a third try. "Céline and I didn't get discouraged ... we put our faith in life and in the stars."

| 3 Men and a Wrong Rumor |

 If you were a fan of the series of “3 Men and a…” films – and really, who wasn’t? – you will be absolutely crestfallen to learn that a rumored “3 Men and a Bride” sequel will not be happening.
Get a hold of yourselves, people.
The rumor began last week when franchise star Steve Guttenberg told the news agency Wenn about the purported project, adding, “Nobody knows about it. I’m the first to talk about it.”
Well, that is entirely accurate. He is the first to talk about – and nobody knows about, most especially the two other men – Ted Danson and Tom Selleck – who would be starring in it. Danson’s rep told Gossip Cop she hadn’t heard of plans for a third “3 Men” movie, and Selleck’s spokeswoman flat out said it was “not true.”
For the time being, we’ll just have to hold out hope for another “Look Who’s Talking” film.
Well, maybe the rumor might set things in motion.

| Aha! Oprah Winfrey, Mutual of Omaha end dispute over phrase |

Is anyone other than Oprah Winfrey allowed to have an "aha! moment"? Apparently so -- but it's best to get her blessing first.
Mutual of Omaha has withdrawn a lawsuit aimed at establishing its right to use that phrase in an advertising campaign after reaching a settlement with Harpo Productions, Winfrey's media company. Terms of the settlement were not made public, and neither company is saying much, but as of now, a website promoting the campaign is still online, complete with the disputed tagline "Mutual of Omaha: Proud sponsor of life's aha moments." The site features videos of real people talking about the epiphanies that changed their lives for the better.
After Mutual of Omaha first rolled out the campaign earlier this year, Harpo objected, saying the phrase was firmly associated in the public mind with Winfrey, who frequently uses it on her show. Never mind that the Nexis news database turns up thousands of articles containing the term "aha moment" with no reference to either Winfrey or Mutual of Omaha that date back more than 20 years. Rather than ditch the campaign, the insurance company responded by petitioning a judge to affirm its right to use the phrase, and revealed that it had already received preliminary approval on an application for the trademark.
The cease-fire comes just as the future of The Oprah Winfrey Show is suddenly in question following a report that Winfrey plans to end the syndication deal under which it currently airs in 2011 and relocate it to cable, where the Oprah Winfrey Network is moving towards a long-delayed launch. CBS chairman Leslie Moonves said Monday that CBS Television Distribution is still in talks with Harpo and hopes to extend the show's run on broadcast TV.
